Welcome

Apex Student Runners is a NO COST student-integrated 501(c)(3) nonprofit that seeks to optimize performance and reduce injuries in teen distance runners in the Tracy/Mountain House area while also providing opportunities to help high school runners get into college. 
We are not a substitute for your regular high school or club coach, but we are here to help you become a BETTER runner and complement your coaches.  
​We are not here to add MILES to your training routine, but instead we add QUALITY to improve performance and reduce injuries that are common in runners.

Shift Loading
Most runners are not aware of their running form until they see a video of their running.  It's an "ah-ha" moment.  There are some simple techniques that can reduce the loading forces on the body but they take practice and attention.
